Berlin!!

hey everyone! it´s tuesday and jose and i came back from berlin yesterday. he gave me tickets for christmas on friday and we went on saturday morning. we stayed two nights with some friends of his there. they were students of his last year in spain.
we did so much walking my legs were killing me! it was great though! probably the most interesting part for me was to see buildings and monuments that were damaged during WW2 and seeing parts of the berlin wall. the next most interesting thing was their transportation, it was extremely impressive (and clean)! very strange though that there are no gates to go through after purchasing your ticket. everything was totally open, buses and trains, you just walk right on. we got on a bus and the driver didn´t seem very concerned about seeing our tickets. i guess you wouldn´t want to be caught without one though. i can´t imagine how it would work in chicago without passing through a gate with your ticket!
well, i am at a computer with a usb plug but i can´t seem to figure out how to post my pictures. i´m a mac user! these pc´s are just not user friendly! i guess i´ll figure it out by the time i am coming home.
