This blog was originally created for my travels through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Burma in 2007. A few months after the trip, during the September protests in Burma, I decided to continue with it to better educate myself and help in the spread of information about Burma, in which there has not been enough. In my lifetime I hope to see the Burmese people get out of their 60 year military dictatorship. GO BACK TO SEPT 25th 2007 IN THE BLOG ARCHIVE TO GET CAUGHT UP.

Glad to hear you both are safe. Can't wait to hear of the adventure getting to Cambodia. It is supposed to be beautiful. We continue to check Google Earth to see where you are. I'm picturing another long bus ride.
Again still lots of snow here but its supposed to get into the 40's (F) here next week.
Just went to Jose's blog and saw he was able to post some pictures so that means at least you are OK.
I hope you can find a good internet connection so we can hear more about Cambodia. And I hope you can find a way to post more pictures. They really give a great view into the adventure. I can only imagine the problems you had with the trip from Ko Chang.
We talked to Mike and Audrey last night.Andrea and Carlie must have been trying to get someone to sleep. Audrey is getting to be very articulate. We sent a little box for Valentines day and while she was thanking me she said "You will have to excuse me for a moment, I have to get a tissue." Don't know if you were able to check from where you are but Andrea sent the latest pictures through Kodak and Charlie is changing fast. Has a nice little rooster top. He is soo cute. Mike and Audrey went to a Daddy Daughter dance for valentines day.
I finally can talk better without too much coughing.
Post as soon as you can, I love coming down to the computer and seeing new yhings.
Love You,
mom
