This temple is really strange. It's close to the border with Cambodia. Built in 1927 it looks like disneyland or an amusment park inside and out. Outside there is a huge wide boulevard lined with strange little colorful stalls containing some kind of scene. One had a moving life size puppet pumpping water from the ground.
There is a lot more to it but the religion is basically a combination of all religions into one, having one god. A universal god.
I thought their "5" commandments were interesting. Cao Dai followers must...
1. Avoid killing living beings
2. Avoid high living
3. Avoid covetousness
4. Avoid verbal deceit
5. Avoid temptations of the flesh
I guess if you can't "avoid" these things it's ok?
