We arived here in Hoi An yesterday morning from Na Trang. We took a 10 hour night bus. Not very comfortable and we didn't sleep much but we made it.
We spent one night in Na Trang before coming here. Na Trang was a beautiful city. The views out on the water were amazing. We took an all day boat ride out to a few of the islands. It was really beautiful out on the water. We went snorkling for one hour and saw so many colorful fish (wished I had an underwater camera). They fed us lunch on the boat and stopped at onother island for everyone to swim at and just sit around. We got back on the boat and they cut up a bunch of different fruits for us to eat. The day was from 8am to 4:30pm. They picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back off. Everything included cost only $6!!
Hoi An is a beautiful old town. One of the only old towns that wasn't destroyed during the war. I'll write more after we see more!
This blog was originally created for my travels through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Burma in 2007. A few months after the trip, during the September protests in Burma, I decided to continue with it to better educate myself and help in the spread of information about Burma, in which there has not been enough. Hi Jeanne,
I am posting this after we spoke on skype. I am not sure why you and Jose are not able to find your blogs. It must be the computers you are on. I just thought of something else. If you are in an area of the country that blocks some communication over the internet maybe the computers are not set up for internet bloging because they are not open to the world.
You will have to keep trying but you might not even get to read this until you can log in to your site. I will send the message by email too.
