No changes...

I have not been writing in my blog because, sadly, there are just no changes occurring in Burma. Although, I should be because there certainly is enough information to write about.
Aun San Suu Kyi is still under house arrest. There continue to be visits from the EU's special envoy urging the country's military regime to set her free as there have been in the past month's and years from the UN's special envoy.

The military regime has agreed to meet with Aun San Suu Kyi, and has, but they release no details of conversation. Well, that is probably because there is no real dialogue happening.

With the world not paying much attention to Burma there really is no incentive for them to give up the power they have. The rest of the world turned away when there were no longer images coming out of the country. Their regime controlled what left the country and in turn controlled every individual living in a free country that could have given them a voice. Just because it's not on t.v. does not mean it's not happening.
