Pictures from our trip to the white sand dunes and red canyon. That's Jose in the distance.
This blog was originally created for my travels through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Burma in 2007. A few months after the trip, during the September protests in Burma, I decided to continue with it to better educate myself and help in the spread of information about Burma, in which there has not been enough. In my lifetime I hope to see the Burmese people get out of their 60 year military dictatorship. GO BACK TO SEPT 25th 2007 IN THE BLOG ARCHIVE TO GET CAUGHT UP.

More WOW! Have a safe trip. Hope you are (were) able to sleep on the bus. Keep those pictures coming, we love them.

We love all these pictures. To Jose I said it seems like such diversity of landscapes. Ocean, red rock climbing, Dunes that go on forever, hotel pools.. The Dunes are very beautiful. I never realized that Vietnam had such areas.
It looked like fun sledding down the Dunes and I bet it was a lot steeper than it seemed from Jose's picture. I also liked the one of you coming out of the tunnel on your blog. I had to go back to "previous blogs" to see some of the pictures probably because you were able to put so many on the site. It must have been a good connection or a better computer.
Hope you can continue to find the right connections.
I've passed the site to a few others who were interested.
I will be working Wed- Thur and Fri this week so I won't be down here watching for you. Dad is going out of town until wed night too. Hope we can connect with Skype again sometime.
Love You,
Mom
It seems that your experience has been really nice in Viet Nam and your pictures are beautiful. Hope you have more smooth sailing ahead of you. Good luck!
Thanks Matt! Yeah, Vietnam is really great. You should come here one day. It's expensive to fly from the states but once you are here it's so cheap that it makes up for the flight ticket. It probably ends up being cheaper than most vacations people take in the states.
